The MT5 Trading Journal That Syncs Itself

Trading on MetaTrader 5? Connect your account once, using your account number, read-only investor password and broker server, and TradePulse mirrors it in the cloud. Every closed trade, deposit and withdrawal lands in your journal automatically, with no EA to install and no terminal that has to stay running.

How the MT5 connection works

  • Enter three things on the Import page: your MT5 account number, your investor (read-only) password, and your broker server name. All three are shown inside MT5.
  • TradePulse provisions a secure cloud mirror of your account that syncs 24/7, even while your own terminal is closed.
  • The first sync imports up to five years of your existing history: trades, deposits and withdrawals. After that it re-syncs every few minutes.
  • The investor password can view but never trade, so the connection cannot place, modify or close positions.
  • Disconnect anytime from the Import page and syncing stops immediately; synced trades are hidden while disconnected and return when you reconnect. Nothing is deleted.

MT5 auto-sync is part of the Pro plan and activates with your first payment. Because the cloud mirror runs on paid infrastructure, it isn't included in the 7-day free trial; during the trial you can still import an MT5 statement on the Import page, and cTrader auto-sync works in full.

What you get

The same review tools cTrader traders use: an equity curve, a colour-coded P&L calendar, win rate and profit factor by session, average win versus loss, expectancy and streaks, plus per-trade journaling with notes, tags and chart screenshots so the lessons stay attached to the trades that taught them.

Prefer not to connect? Import a statement

On any plan, including Free, you can export your account statement from MetaTrader 5 as a CSV or HTML file and upload it on the Import page. Trades are parsed with prices, fees and P&L, ready to journal.

Create your free TradePulse account (no card needed) and journal up to 50 trades, or start the 7-day Pro free trial. cTrader auto-sync works from day one of the trial; MetaTrader 5 auto-sync activates with your first Pro payment. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.

FAQ

How do I connect MetaTrader 5?

Once your Pro subscription is active (after the first payment), open the Import page and enter your MT5 account number, investor (read-only) password and broker server. The connection is provisioned in about a minute, and the first sync brings in your history — up to five years, including deposits and withdrawals — within a few minutes.

Is the investor password safe to use?

Yes, that is exactly what it exists for. The investor password gives read-only access: it can view balance and history but can never place, modify or close a trade.

Can I journal MT5 trades without connecting?

Yes. Any plan can upload an MT5 statement (CSV or HTML) on the Import page and journal those trades with notes, tags and screenshots.

How much does it cost?

The Free plan is $0: a manual journal with up to 50 trades, no card needed. Early Access ($9.99/month) adds automatic cTrader sync with 200 trades per month. Pro ($19.99/month) adds MetaTrader 5 auto-sync (it activates with your first payment), Account Guardian, unlimited trades, advanced analytics and AI insights, and comes with a 7-day free trial. Card details are taken at checkout, but you aren't charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
